A CLIENT

THANKS PRC

I would like to thank everyone at the Pregnancy Resource Center for always being so kind and supportive.

They have given me the opportunity to make the best decisions for me and my children

and have provided lots of information to learn new things.

While learning new things, I have gained enough points to get the items needed

to make being a single mom easier.  All of the items have been in excellent condition.

I don’t know what I would do without this wonderful program.

THOUGHTS ON ABORTION

Stephanie Habegger

Have you ever held a little baby in your arms?

Have you ever seen the way babies smile at you?

Some women choose to give up seeing the baby growing in them.

This process is called abortion.

I want to tell you of a young woman that was faced with this choice.

She was in her twenties and had a one-night stand with a man.
When she found out that she was pregnant, she was faced with the decision to abort the baby.

She decided to have the baby and release it for adoption.

The man and woman who found out that they would be getting the child were ecstatic.

When they first saw their little girl, it was love at first sight.

Because of my mother's adoption decision, I can write this story and tell you that abortion is wrong.

You may be thinking, "Well, isn't it just a clump of tissue?"  The answer to that is an emphatic NO.

At ten weeks gestation, about the time most abortions take place, the baby has hands, eyes, feet and ears.

That is no clump of tissue!  At twenty one days, the baby's heart is beating.

Some women are told that this decision is between them and their doctor,

thereby negating the importance of the unborn child.

When a noted pro-abortion speaker was asked the difference between parents

privately beating their child or a woman and doctor privately choosing abortion,

the speaker said the beating would be wrong because the child is living.

That answer denies the fact that the baby is really alive.

The types of abortion include a suction method which is a very strong internal force

that draws out the baby and uterine contents.  This method sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

Another type of abortion kills the baby first, then the mother goes through the delivery process.

I do not understand why anyone would choose any type of abortion.

Symptoms women experience after abortions may include flashbacks or nightmares

of the abortion.  Some post abortive women experience self abuse.

Women often do not know that there is help for them at a pregnancy

resource center after an abortion.

I am so thankful that my mother chose life.
