     The Pregnancy Resource Center invites you to look into the Abstinence Panel, TNT (TRUTH NEVER TRAPS).

     TNT (TRUTH NEVER TRAPS) is a mission group of the Pregnancy Resource Center of Lapeer devoted to the promotion of sexual purity, abstinence from sex until marriage and behaviors leading to physical, spiritual and emotional well-being.

     This group provides educational information about pregnancy, STD's, emotional consequences of premarital sex, setting and keeping healthy limits, secondary virginity, and the importance of viewing sexuality as a gift from God.

     TNT presents a Biblically-based, abstinence-only message.

     TNT's Message is:

     GOD CENTERED ... based upon the Word of God, TNT states that the fundamental problem that leads to crisis pregnancies is illicit sexual activity.

     TEEN POSITIVE ... teens have the ability, wisdom and will power to make correct life choices.

     SEX POSITIVE ... God created human sexuality.

     ABSTINENCE ONLY ... discussion of accurate failure rates of contraception in an "abstinence until marriage" format.

     TNT MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATIONS:

     Sign a PRC Abstinence Agreement, Statement of Faith and Statement of Purpose & Principle

     LEADERSHIP & PRESENTER PANEL

     Be committed to, and live, the message of abstinence until marriage

     Complete PRC Volunteer Training Program

     Complete TNT Presenter Training Program

     Sign a PRC Abstinence Agreement, Statement of Faith, and Statement of Purpose & Principle

     Be a member in good standing at a local church.

The Abstinence Panel is a mission group of PRCOL which targets teens with the message that abstinence until marriage is Gods plan for sexuality. Its presentation panel, consisting of young people ages 16 - 26, has taken the name "TNT" (Truth Never Traps). This group believes that Biblical truths concerning sexuality enable people to live lives of freedom from emotional, spiritual, and physical pain as opposed to the conception that these truths ‘trap’ individuals with stifling restrictions. Since its beginnings, the panel  has spoken to approximately three hundred youths, sharing the message that abstinence is the only true form of ‘safe sex’. The panel enjoys speaking to church youth groups and at youth outings.
